Meet this week’s #WomanWednesday

Kelli Koehler owner of @wildwayoflife, a clean food company based here in San Antonio 👏🏻🎉 Six years ago, she and her husband, Kyle, found themselves living in NYC and unhappy with their 9-5’s, so they decided to move back to Texas and #LiveWild. They wanted to create a business to fulfill their active lifestyle and inspire others to pursue their passions. According to Kelli, the foundation for exploring life is good nutrition, so the couple decided to make a clean granola bar to fuel themselves and others during their adventures. However, the bars fell apart, leaving a delicious crumble of organic, gluten free, no sugar added goodness. Thus, their best-selling granola was born. Kelli and Kyle started small, selling at farmers markets and road tripping across the Southwest demoing at every Whole Foods in the region. Today, Wildway products are sold in over 1,000 grocery stores across the U.S. and serve as breakfast on international American Airlines flights. Kelli’s advice for other women starting a business is to not be afraid to do what it takes to make it happen. When obstacles come your way, dig deeper, live in the mindset of, “failure is not an option.”
