Ushers in Business Chic
Immediately evident during the Neiman Marcus Spring Trend Fashion Show on February 17 was this new season is a cut above. The clothes were stunning and at times received spontaneous applause from the standing room only crowd.
The clothes, of course, may be found at Neiman Marcus in the Shops of La Cantera; but, also, inspiration can be gleaned for the business woman’s spring wardrobe. Spring 2016 features these trends: the blazer redefined, wide leg pants, bare shoulders, an abundance of lace, confident reds, high impact earrings, shoes which wrap and tie, denim head to toe, and embellished bags. As is typical of the vibrant San Antonio woman, many in attendance preferred the collection featuring red the most. “All shades of red from deep red to poppy to coral are on trend,” said Xitlalt Herrera, marketing director.
Also, vivid red matte colors are in the spotlight this spring for lips. A woman’s best shade in the matte may be found at the beauty counters of Laura Mercier, Christian Louboutin, Kevyn Aucorn, Nars, Tom Ford, Le Metier de Beaute, Estee Lauder, Bobbi Brown, and Clinique.
Also, SA Woman Connect would like to welcome the new general manager, Michael Rohlf, to San Antonio. He officially welcomed the fashion show attendees for his first local event.
